The Ohio Attorney General's reply to my request for an investigation.

Dear Constituent,

Thank you for contacting the Ohio Attorney General's Office regarding your concern.  Unfortunately, the matter outlined in your correspondence lies outside the jurisdiction of this office and we are unable to directly assist you.

I understand your frustration in the matter.  However, no laws were broken by publishing the names of concealed carry license holders.  It is the responsibility of the legislative branch of government to create the laws. They are in a position to present ideas and vote on issues before the Ohio General Assembly.  If you have not done so already, you may wish to contact your local legislators through calling legislative information at 614-466-8842, or 1-800-282-0253 to have the law changed so that these actions are deemed illegal.

Thank you again for your correspondence.  I hope that the above information is helpful to you.

                                        Sincerely,
                                        ATTORNEY GENERAL MARC DANN
